Under the Swell

A double-wall bowl fired hot so flame could work the ridges. The inner bowl cracked. I repaired it and left the seams visible. Outside holds the swell. Inside holds the break. The repair becomes structure, not apology.

Placement: Table or shelf where the inner seam can be seen. Invites hand contact. Notes: Visible repair is intentional. Double-wall construction adds heft and steadiness.
