Windowed World
Porcelain, phosphorescent pigment (stored light)
Built from small squares and rolled slabs, this off-centre small world opens to daylight. Join marks stay visible. The openings frame whatever is outside: tree, sky, water, streetlight. By night, stored light returns as a low afterglow, material rather than gadget.
Placement: Window ledge or shelf near natural light. Made to be looked through as much as at. Light: Charges in daylight, direct or ambient. Afterglow is gentle and best in a dim room. Notes: No electronics. The glow arrives over time rather than on command.
